On March 9, 2017, The HistoryMakers hosted the Salute to Miami HistoryMakers, a special program and reception in honor of our Miami HistoryMakers at the Perez Art Museum Miami. Julieanna Richardson, founder of The HistoryMakers, co-hosted the event with Veranda Dickens, Alma Dodd, Cecil Hayes, Valerie Norman-Gammon and Dorothy Terrell. The Salute To Miami HistoryMakers showcased the achievements of the 13 HistoryMakers who have shared their stories with us in attendance.
