On Tuesday, June 5, 2018, The HistoryMakers hosted the San Antonio Inaugural Reception, a special program and reception to introduce the city to The HistoryMakers and to seek partnerships with local educational and cultural institutions. The event was held at the Plaza Club in the Frost Bank Tower and was co-hosted by Major General Alfred K. Flowers and Professor Mario Marcel Salas.
